April 30th, - Noon MT - Navigating the Architectural Provisions of the CC&Rs
Homeowner Association CC&Rs generally provide some form of architectural requirements and procedures for all owners to abide by within a given community, but not all architectural provisions are created the same. We’ll discuss common provisions related to architectural procedures, the relationship of the architectural committee to the board of directors, ideas for addressing architectural violations and disputes, and other best practices.
May 22nd, - Noon MT - Picking the Right Voting Vehicle: Proxies vs. Written Ballots
This presentation will provide board members and property managers with a clear understanding of when to use proxies versus written ballots in community association governance. Attendees will learn the differences between general and directed proxies, explore best practices for their use, and review relevant provisions of the Idaho Nonprofit Corporation Act to ensure compliance and effective decision-making.
