Empowering Communities. Enriching Lives.

Idaho CAI's Vision
Idaho’s leader advancing excellence in community association living.
Idaho CAI's Mission
Idaho’s Chapter of Community Associations Institute advances community association governance, management, and quality of life by inspiring professionalism, effective leadership, and responsible citizenship, through education and advocacy.
As CAI's 64th chapter, CAI Idaho supports the state's growing population and expanding housing market of homeowners associations (HOAs), condominiums, and housing cooperatives.
ABOUT COMMUNITY ASSOCIATIONS INSTITUTE (CAI)
CAI is an international membership organization dedicated to building, creating, and sustaining the world’s best communities. With nearly 50,000 members, CAI has 64 chapters worldwide, including Canada, the Middle East and South Africa, and relationships with housing leaders in countries around the world. CAI enhances community living by establishing and promoting high standards, best practices, and state of the art resources and education in community association governance and management and advocating for legislative and policy support. CAI members include association board members and other homeowner leaders, community managers, association management firms and other professionals who provide products and services to associations.

Idaho is home to 1.7 million residents living in nearly 3,000 incorporated community associations, according to the Foundation for Community Association Research. U.S. Census data from 2010–2017 shows that Idaho's population has increased by 62,000 due to the migration of residents from California, Oregon, and Washington state. As Idaho continues to be recognized nationally as one of the best places to live in America, the CAI Idaho Chapter will benefit homeowners, community managers, industry partners, and the local business community through CAI resources, including comprehensive education and credentialing programs. CAI Idaho will offer members the opportunity to attend educational sessions, an annual conference, and a range of networking and state and federal legislative initiatives.
